Yest was another nite of boozing, held in conjunction wif our newest Centre babe's bday. Boy, i realli like dat ger..so adorable. Spout so much nonsense when she is drunk. Apart from that, Jo also comes across to me as a sincere and innocent person. Well, perhaps dats that's largely attruibuted to the fact that she is a fresh grad..not polluted n corrupted by the mercenary REAL working world yet. =p

But i must say, yest's session was value for money. Most of us were pretty high at the end of the nite! Haha. Initially, i (really) wanted to 'xiao drink" oni. Cos there are gona be another 2 rounds of boozing session this week! X'mas eve n Boxing Day. *fainted*

Im very much certain i will be fucking wasted tmw..As usual, those bastard kampung frens of mine will not let the nite slip away wif anyone being sober. Moreover, mi n WP made a stupid pact. We are gg to play Siamese Twins tmw. Watever I drink, he drinks. N of cos, vice versa. Also, no matter who jio any of us, the other person will down the equal amt of booze. Siao liao lah....

As for Boxing Day, it's my team's off day and we will be gg to Wine Bar at nite for Michelle's farewell, as well as for Jo's actual bdae. Darn. Not Wine Bar again. Im still suffering from Wine Bar phobia since my bdae. Haha.

Brought Mommy n Papa to one of my client's restaurant. Emperor's Soup located at Joo Chiat Place. When i went there to meet my client during my initial visit, i was impressed by the celebrities who tried the chef's culinary skills before. Haha, u will nv guess which big names im toking abt here. On mind u, they are reali BIG names okie?

From Singapore, there is SM Goh. From HK, there are Eric Tsang and Jackie Chan. N from China, lagi sud sia..Hu Jingtao wor! Apparently, the chef have won numerous awards in the region but becos the family migrated to Singapore, dats y they set up a restaurant here.

Since then, i had wanted to bring my parents there to try the food. N tdy im finally free to spend some family time wif em.

The chef indeed lives up to his name! The Buddha Jumps Over The Wall is Ohh So Delicious..Yummyyummy!

Mommy n Papa enjoyed their dinner too and so, that's happy issue No 1.

Subsquently, we proceeded to Parkway cos i wana get a new hp! Yuppie!!

During the past few weeks, i had been scouting for a new hp but to no avail. The ones which my frens suggested, i dun like. Or else, those i like, jitao my frens condemmned them.

There was this Sony Ericsson bronze color HP which i wanted to get initially, cant rem the model offhand. But the feedback i got from my frens were horrendous. Some described it as orbit, squarish and the worst criticism was it looked like a coffin!!! My frens are all so rude rite??!!!

That was my most potential "target" and i was completely lost on wat to get since i gave up the idea of getting that particular model. Until i saw Jo's new hp! Nokia 6500C! Its so damn slim n sleek! Fell in love wif it instantly!

Hers is the black color but i decided to go for the bronze one though. This is it!

Furthermore, it's such a worthwhile bargain. Becos I upgraded my plan, hence, I got a rebate of $100. Then I redeemed my points and i got yet a futher $25 rebate. In all, i ended up paying $73 for the phone oni! *glees in delight*

What's more, the purchase of the fone comes with a free Bree trolley bag! Sibei "wu hua" hor? haha

Again, I got a gd deal. Due to Tigerairways promo, i got the tixs at $334 after taxes! Isn't that a wonderful bargain?!

Honestly, I m nv keen in Australia. I still rem hw reluctant i was when i had to go to Aust for an exchange program some years ago. Thus, when the trip was cancelled due to SARS, i was secretly rejoicing, despite it meant some of the payments i had made was being forfeited.

But this time round, upon seeing the promo, i noe i must get it! Cos it's just so dirt cheap!!!!

Most importantly, i m dying to travel. Yes, literally dying.

Not to sound arrogrant, but i made a resolution to myself since I was 19 years old that i must at least go on a getaway n a trip per year. By getaway, i mean places like beach resorts, genting, u noe lah..basically its nearby places. N by overseas trips, of cos it will mean those whereby u need to travel by plane lah.

N I m proud to say, i have achieved that till date. Again, im not trying to boast or show off here. The reason why Im so proud of myself is becos i did that entirely based on my own efforts. Apart from the Taiwan family trip afew yrs ago, i paid for ALL my travels MYSELF. Hence, im really proud that im totally financially independant. Eh, at most im oni slightly dependant on bfs lah, oni a teeny weeny bit lah..for the Korea n Bkk trip wif Seng. Haha. Other than that, my parents do not contribute a cent at all for my other trips.

This yr though, sad to say, i oni manage to go for a couple of short getaways. Couldn't go for any overseas trip due to my new job. 1st of all, being new in the job, i dun tink it's gd to take a long leave. Secondly, there's way too much considerations shd i proceed wif my usual yearly trip. Being on a yearly target wif quart payout, the trip will SEVERELY affect my payout. N this quart is the best time for mi to hit my target since it's being pro-rated beocs im a newbie. For the sake of $, i decided to stay put in Singapore.

Nonetheless, it's getting really depressing n stifling for mi. Too much unhappy things had happened this yr and i desperately need a getaway..as quick as possible. Therefore, the moment i saw this promo, i badly wanted to go.

However, it was not easy to get frens to go with mi as the promo was oni for 3 days. By the time i learnt of it, it was alrdy the 2nd day.

Joe was agreeable but our usual khaki, Principal Seow couldn't make it becos of his "potential greener pastures". YL was keen on a trip but her boss was on leave so she cant confirm on her leave. As for the rest whom i asked, i got counter-offered instead. Genting, Guangzhou, Vietnam etc..all of whcih i was not so keen cos as compared, the Darwin promo was so much more of a bargain.

Just when i tot all hope was lost, i found Vil. My darling Vil!!!!!! Haha. She was supposed to go Bintan wif Vana but decided to amend the trip to Darwin instead to grant my wish! Thxs so muchie, sweetie! N so, Vil, Vana n myself will be gg to Darwin in Mar. Sooooooooo looking forward to the trip! =)

For the past week, i m hardly online, let alone blog. These days, im always gallivanting around after wk. Hence, serves me right for being seriously deprived of slp! But nvm, i slept to my heart's content tdy, slept till 5.30pm. Shiok!! Hehe.

Had also been eating ALOT for the past week. Went JB n Xian De Lai on Thur n Wed respectively with my collx, amidst my other lunches n dinners. Damn. I m starting to wish i m either bulimic or anorexic! Urghhhhhhhhhhh. I m such a glutton and that's just such an unpardonable sin!

Anw, went Indulgz for lunch last week too. U noe Indulgz, the resturant at Bugis which our most popular local female blogger had raved so much abt? My verdict: Not nice wan!!! Eh, perhaps I did not try the signature dishes which Miss XX had recommended. I went for the set lunch which comprises of a tomato soup, duno-wat pasta n their self-made ice cream. Soup wise, i merely had afew spoonfuls n that was it. The tomato soup was way too sour for my liking. Main course wasn't fantastic either. The linguine was very oily till i need not apply my all-time fav Lancome Juicy Tubes aft the meal. Oh, FYI, juicy tube is the name of my lip gloss. The last item which was served is the ice-cream. Well, wat can i say? The ice cream was just ice cream. Of cos, this is just my 5cents worth on Indulgz n u may beg to differ. But the lunch had totally killed off all interest for mi to try the dinner menu. Unless i got no better alternatives. Haha.

N pertaining to my blog title..Yupz, I learnt a new game this week! On 2nd tots, it shd be a new vice learnt instead. Hehe. N that's none other than..TEXAS HOLDEM. No wonder they say the game is addictive. Indeed, im starting to feel likewise. Even as im blogging this entry, i also feel kinda gian to play the game again.

Had my 1st go at the game with WC at Jazz Pub. He taught me the game n since that's my 1st try at the game, i paid a hefty "tution fees". The stakes were beer n God knows hw much beer i gulped down as a result. Luckily, our stakes were small. Maximum bet was 5sips of beer. But then, there were so many times when i lost on the maximum penalty! *Exasperated look*

Meanwhile, we also gathered at Zhiwei's hse to play the game on Fri. Initial plan was mj aft supper but there were 8 of us and he only has 1 table at home. So we decided to switch to playing poker instead.

Wahh..it was then i realised hw suaku im. Out of 8 of us, oni myself, Jo n jinfu do not noe how to play the game. The rest of em are all quite seasoned "old birds". But the game is not just abt experience, luck is one deciding factor, but most importantly, SKILLS is of utmost importance. N by skills, i mean ACTING SKILLS lor.

It's a game whereby the Oscars award winners thrive and honesty is not a virtue in this game at all. That nite, the Oscar winners are the Jln Besar pple. Kaoz, must be they seen too much Ah Nes in their wkplace which allows em to accquire this talent n flair for acting. =p

I managed to net a small win of $15 at the end of the game. But dun doubt my honesty okie? Im a 100% honest person. Haha.

Alrite, i need to focus on the Ars game. Cant concentrate on the game while im tryin to blog this entry. It's the Grand Slam Sunday! Liv Vs ManU n Ars Vs Chelsea. An impt day for all soccer fans as the Big4 come against each other. ManU had won the 1st match (unfortunately) but im confident my Ars will win the game to maintain top of the league table. N we are still leading at 1-0 at this moment! Gunners all the way!!!

N its not just a teeny weeny bit of "Ouchz", its a fucking BIG "Ouchz" with mutiple exclaimation marks!!!!! Freaking painful!

Alrity, by now, u are most prob confused by me. Wat the heck is this thingy abt Peter Crouch all abt?

Well, for those who watch scoccer, Peter Crouch is definately not a stranger to u. But for the benefit of those who are not into scoccer, this guy here is "infamous" for his super long limbs. N as such, he is freaking clumsy and always fall down rather easily cos it seems like he cant coordinate those long limbs of his and they get "entangled" frequently. To put it simply, in Hokkien, we say "Chew kanna kah, kah kanna chew" Hands machiam legs, legs machiam hands..

N if you are luffing at the above, DUN LUFF!! Cos u will have karma wan..n that was exactly wat happened to me! Sobz.

On Sun, aft Jinhao's wedding, my colleagues and I proceeded to The Cavern, Liverpool's fanclub at Boat Quay to watch the match btw Liv n Bolton. Right at the heart of liv's territory, i cracked alot of jokes abt those long limbs of Crouch's.

Aft Janice's wedding on Mon, my fren came to pick me up at Sheraton, the venue of the dinner. The moment i spotted him, i naturally waved to him and walked towards his car. But who knows! I actually missed my footing and fell flat on the road! Right infront of the lobby where there are still so much people ard! N worse, becos it's a wedding dinner, I was in a dress!!! Grhhh..damn embarrassing manz!

Isnt this a classic replication of Crouch? Nb..duno why my hands n legs so short..but i can still do a Crouch. Fucking clumsy sia. Damn.

During the past few days, whenever i meet my clients, all of them without fail, will go, "Ohh, u must have had a very bad fall!"

Absolutely true.

As the fell was on the road, which means I essentially fell on a bumpy and uneven ground of tar, the whole fall was really bad. Apart from my right hand, all the remaining limbs are injured. The worst injury is on my right knee, so bad that im walking with a limp. Becos it's at the joint, every movement i made will induce further pain to my injury.

Hence, cancel all plans for clubbing last nite. Consolation was i get to play mj instead! Yuppie! As compared to boozing, mj is certainly more cost-saving, unless i really sibei sibei suay and lost till i drop my pants lah. haha.

Similiarly, there shall be strictly no clubbing tonite. Watching "Golden Compass" with Choon Yam at Tampines instead. Hmm, wana drop the movie plan initially but since he is willing to mit at Tamp, den i oblige lor. Reckon it's gg to be a boring Sat also, so may as well go n catch the movie. Read some reviews on the show and apparently, the critics are quite positive. Hopefully, the show does lives up to the expectations.

N oh, last but not least, blogdrive was down for the past several days. Junie told mi it could be the host did not pay for the domain and someone took over it instead. I really had a fright of my life. Cant imagine what it will be if my "life story" for the past 2 years just get deleted and wiped out completely. Hmm, better find of a new avenue to continue my blogging..

I can just continue to bask in sweetness for as long as i like, feeling love is in the air all the time.

WP has become so much fatter within a short span of 1and a half months! As wat I had msg her, time reali flies..This year is the "Nth yr" that we are celebrating her bdae tog. I used "Nth" as it has been so many times that i cant rem the exact yrs of celebration. But thxs to this precious blog of mine, manage to dig out the entry which recorded the happy moments during her last bdae, Concidentally, it was also at Zouk! Haha, maybe it's not so much of coincidence lah, i guess it's more due to the fact that Singapore is seriously lacking of nightlife. The fatigue was so bad that I had the urge to check myself into one of those budget hotels at Balestier for some 2hours transit when my cab passed by the vicinity during one of my appmts on Fri. But of cos, on 2nd tots, i decided against doing so lah..kinda weird if i did it rite? haha

Okiez..so tdy, i made up my mind to stay indoors and clock some well-deserved rest instead. N also to fufill my "social responsibility" to all my blog readers! lol.

A fortnight ago, I went to catch the musical, "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". Huggies n kisses to my dear fren for providing the tixs!! Hey, i not "wang en fu yi" wan k. I do rem the source of the tixs k! My dear fren was complaining that ever since the musical, i seem to MIA completely..ignoring her SMS, calls n msn. Thus, she felt "cheated" of her tixs. Haha. Pls lor, im not such an ingrate k! Im just very bzi n occupied during this period. But I made up for it by lunching wif u the other day rite? =p

Dun be dismayed by the pics k! The pics doesn't do credit to the musical at all. As a matter of fact, the backdrop n props were one of the best among all the musicals I have been to. The spectacular special effects also made up for the otherwise boring songs. Nevertheless, i still still rate this world-acclaimed musical as good and worthwhile to watch.

Luckily for her, if not i will most prob end up catching the musical all by myself. No thxs to a Miss Certain Lan Hong fren of mine. (Yes, I noe u r reading this! But i must still vent my frustrations!!! =p)

Well, lets name this fren of mine as Miss CLH (abbreviation for Certain Lan Hong). The nite b4 the musical, i called Miss CLH n told her i mite have tixs for the show. So she asked me to get for her a tix if possible. N even on the actual day itself, she also text-ed me to try to help her get tixs. Hence, i did my utmost to c if if i can get another tix for her and by noon, i called her to tell her the gd news that i manage in doing so.

To my surprise cum astonishment cum exasperation cum anguish n frustration..she told me she has booked for movie tixs with her bf! N this is within a span of 2 hours from her sms to ask me to help her get a tix! But nvm, Miss CLH said she will try to cancel her booking. As such, i just leave things as it was.

However, the next thing i knew, i recv a sms from her at 5+, telling me she cant make it cos she was unable to cancel her booking. N by informing me at 5+, it meant i had barely 3 hours b4 the start of the musical to make alternative arrangements!

WTF????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ur tixs are oni $20 whereas mine is $150 lor! N to tink she was the one who ASKED for the tix, yet now she has the cheek to dua me becos of a mere $20???

Okiez, fair enough, i din paid for the $150 as well. But if u compare value against value, i m sure the tixs for the musical are far more expensive. Moreover, if she had tell me earlier, I mite have arranged for someone else to go wif mi instead, or i mite not have asked for the additional tix from my dear fren.

The worst part is, I was attending a course on that particular day n usage of HP was prohibited. As such, i gota secretly mass-msg the whole world to c if anyone is able to go wif me. But becos it was a Fri eve and it was really too last min, alot of my frens alrdy have their own plans.

That really put me in a spot as I started to worry abt hw i m gg to answer to my dear fren for wasting her $150 tix if i cant find anyone to attend with me.

Fortunately, i recalled Serene had also asked me out that day and i made a last ditch attempt to check if she is still avail. N bingo! She was still avail! Phew..

I had since made up wif Miss CLH even tho she remained unapologetic during the whole incident. (im not accusing u rite? =p) Im a magnanimous person mah. Haha. But frankly speaking, i must say i was very annoyed this inciden. By right, i m doing my frens a favor by giving them free tixs, but in the end, i felt as if i m begging for favors from my frens to get them to go wif me instead. But well, let bygones be bygones, just that now i have another issue to suan her in years to come for her "hong-ness". haha. =)

After the musical, it was yet another nite of partying. But this time round, it's with a purpose..to celebrate Yvon's Bdae!

BBC Gathering!

This is the event that I have mentioned in my previous post, the one which i have the "honour" to organise, with a miserable budget of $700..

Haha,due to Yuanda's and my resourcefulness, we manage to source out a venue which fits the budget eventually. Shin Bar @ Boat Quay! N the proposed budget comes with 100mugs of beer, free flow of soft drinks n food as well! Not bad hor?

However,  we din keep to the 100 mugs provided also..the boozing exceeded way more than wat we expected. Wat to do? U noe those bosses can reali drink lah..Moreover, the event was held in conjunction wif WC's bdae as well. Yupz, another bdae celebration within a week! Come to think of it, I celebrated 3 fren's bdae in this short duration. Yvon's, WC's and Linrong's..din blog abt the latter's bdae cos no cammy wif me n still waiting for her to send mi the pics.

Anw, back to the event..Hw glad i was that someone finally broke my record! Not record of downing hw much liquor, but record of the timing to be drunk! I was made a huge laughing stock when I got drunk at 11.30pm on my bdae. Yvon was a survivor till 1plus. But haha, WC got drunk earlier than me..he is now the new defending (seh) champion at 11.15pm!! Having said that though, I must say he is still a very gd drinker. Took several pics of his drunken state but promised him i wun publish it. Im sure one gd turn will deserves another. Haha.

Alrite, that's the end of this entry. Wana go catch up on my beauty slp le. It's the dreadful Monday again! I wana have longer wkends!!

The past 2 weeks had been reali crazi, packed with activities almost every other days. N the fact that my previous entry simply vanished into thin air, right after i painstakingly blogged abt my previous week's life didnt help matters. Now i gota backdate 2 weeks of entries instead!!!!!

Thus, this entry gona be damn random..Im just gona blog watever dat comes to mind so that i can get this entry all over n done with, n report to Dearest Grandpa Zhou asap.

Let's see..so I have ate countless dinner with diff pple, one of which is The Marmalade Pantry,food is quite nice, but unfortunately, no cammy wif mi! (again) Also went to Xian De Lai wif Mr S, haha, finally succeeded into making him peel prawn for mi. Yupz, its singular, not plural. Cos he oni peeled ONE prawn for mi. But well, better than nothing rite? hahaaha. (N if u r reading this, oki lah, im still appreciative of that 1 n oni prawn u peeled for mi k? =p)

I watched 2 movies in this wk! They were namely Game Plan n Stardust, both of which I enjoyed thoroughly. While the former is a heartwarming comedy, the latter is more of a fanatsy cum romance show. Both almost brought tears to my eyes. Almost, but not there yet, my tear glands are becoming as sturborn as mi these days. Nonetheless, i still feel Stardust is rather sweet, esp the last part when they said sumtink like in order to attain immortality, u need to have the "Star's" heart, n Tristan (the male lead) live happily forever as the Star gave him her heart completely. Gosh! I was completely bowled over by this stmt! Chunky felt it was damn cliched, but again, i must proclaim that im a sucker for this kinda romantic stuff! Oh btw, if u dun understand wat the hell im tokin abt, pls watch the show. Its definately worth ur monies!

Moi went SWIMMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darn, i must say im so in awe of myself. Its an absolute feat for mi, cos we are toking abt someone who haven exercise for perhaps..hmm..the past decade? Or even more? So i tot its an incredible achievement for mi to swim. N mind u, i swim for 2 hours hor! *Applause for self*

Mi n Lp went to Mel's place to swim n we promised to make a habit to do so during the wkends. Hopefully, we will adhere to our own promise. To be honest, i have been wanting to start doing some forms of exercise but unfortunately, dun seem to find the right khakis. My frens lead unhealthy lifestyles just like mi. haha.

N everytime I say i wana exercise, everbody seems to take mi lightly. WHY??? Limpei kenot exercise meh? =p

Hmm..oki lah, agreeably, i reckon its kinda hard to connect Sorina n Sports tog. Well, both starts with "S", but they seem worlds apart.

Sometime ago, i was msn-ing wif Bryan. I was asking if he wana go gym wif mi since he stays in the same area as me. Then i started telling him abt hw i wana kip fit n to start indulge in sports. Suddeny, midway thru our convo, he asked mi out of the blue: "Hmm, just concern, but are u alrite?" Wahahaha. im lah! Nah, im noether sick in the mind or sick in the body, i purely wana shed off the hideous fats which im gaining every single day!!

Another MUST-BLOG! I went to the Arsenal fan club to watch the big match btw Ars n ManU! Okok, i noe most of the football fanatics will have long finish blogging abt this, but wat to do? Im a procrastinator mah. However, i still wana blog abt the Ars fanclub cos i must tell the world how awesome that place is!

That was actually my 2nd time there but the 1st, it was a complete disaster. Only upon reaching the destination and mind u, thats a really ulu place, at Elizabeth's Hotel..den we realise the match it's not showing. N gosh! It's a derby game against Spurs! At that point of time, i seriously doubt the authenticity of Chunky's Ars fanclub membership.

Anw, back to the crunch match against Man U. Gosh! Those who watched the match will certainly agree what an exciting match it had been! Esp when Ars equalised at the 92nd min. I tell u, if u were at the club, u will be completely enthralled by the amazing atmosphere!

The whole club were full of fans in Ars jerseys singing to the various chants. Each time we were close to scoring the goal, everyone will just gasped in anticipation. N becos we were trailing behind initially, the whole club just kept cheering the team, chanting in sync wif he big screen,  machiam we were live in Emirates Stadium sia! Ohh so Coolz!!!!!!!

By the way..i guess by now, most of my peepz would have seen mi in my new haircut. Yupz, another thing that i did during this period. Not a complete new hair-do, jus cut short my hair. N by cutting short, i mean cuttin damn short in comparision to b4 my hair cut.

The haircut was nt cheap okie! Thxs to SL n LP who HIGHLY recommended Kimage Prestige, i decided to have my hair cut there by the master hairstylist. N it cost a whooping $55!!!!

Not only is my hair short..but it is also STRAIGHT!!

Nah..this is oni temporary lah..I told the stylist im contemplating to rebond my hair n he blew straight for mi in order to let mi visualise hw i look.

Actuali, i like the way i look with straight hair. N as Li described, i look sleek with straight hair. However, tho most pple tot i look quite nice with straight hair, but they feel it doesnt goes well wif my character. They tot i looked too "si wen" wif straight hair! Hey, i m infact very SIWEN wan hor! =p
