After blogging an entire entry, right b4 i was abt to publish, the whole goddamn entry disappeared cos i clicked on a link which my fren gave me via MSN. N the next thing i knew, i was brought to another page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What can i say! I had such an enjoyable nite during Fri's D&D. Simply awesome!

This is the 2nd D&D i have ever been to date (dun tink i v old hor, i also just stepped into the working society k! keke) The 1st one I went to was last yr, with my former bank n no doubt my DB folks are equally fun pple, but i guess on the whole, the overall team spirit in my current's is better.

Boy! The whole function room of Shangri-la was a big masqeurade party came alive on that day!

Oni upon arrival at the D&D, then i knew the overall theme was: Countries. The chosen country for my unit was United States, thus explaining why we had to dressed as hip-hoppers. Some of the other themes include Retro from HongKong, Bollywood from India, Japanese style from needless to say, Japan, etc..1 theme that i particularly like was old Victorian style symbolising Europe. Very nice! How I wished i could don an old Victorian costume too..i will realli look like Princess Na then, n hopefully, i can find my prince charming...*dreaming n fantasing..* LOL

Despite being clad in an outfit which i dun forsee myself donning for the rest of my entire life again; a pair of boots, coupled with a hyper short skirt n white sweats (thxs to HJ), I was glad that i dressed to the theme! Otherwise, i will realli be the odd one out cos everybody did so!

Each unit must also put up a performance n mine did a Hip Hop dance number. Team spirit was displayed once again when the entire unit came forward to the stage to support the team. All of us just danced to the number in an act of support to the dancers! Coolz!

Unlike the previous D&D i attended, i tink i barely ate more than 3 dishes this time round. The whole time, i was bzi taking pics, not wif my cammy though! Cos once again, my cammy died on me at such an important occassion. FLAT BATT!!! Nb..of all times manz. But then again, wat''s new rite? Who to blame, myself lah! *shrugz*

Last yr, i was shamelessly holding onto El's cammy as if it was my own, taking pics of myself till her cammy was full of my pics. Wahahaha. Apart from cam-whoring, there was oni another thing which can stop a glutton like me to keep my hands off the food: Kamikaze drinking!! The party (boozing) contd at St James after the D&D ended. Oh, i saw quite a number of DB folks there as well becos of Shayanne's bdae celebration.

Gosh! I cant't believe my dept is assigned the theme of Hip Hop for tmw's D&D. Duh!!! Hip hop sia. What a passe manz!

N becos of this goddamn theme, i have been fretting over my outfit for the past few days. Pls lor, pple who know mi shd noe im not the Hip Hop kind..not the least bit at atll! Even while blogging this entry, im still cracking my brains on wat to wear tmw. *shrugz*

Why is my dept so unlucky?? Couldn't we be assigned a theme thats more fun n exciting?? Okiez, or at least makes me look pretty. I wana b a fairy, an angel, a princess..but i dun wan to be HIP HOP lor. Princess Na kenot HOP at all lor. Kaoz, cum to think of it, being a bunny ger sounds much better. Bunny also hop wat, except it's not hip mah. =p

Yest, went to bugis village to shop for those "bua long long" bling bling kinda accessories. Apparently, feedback from everyone is, Hip Hop shd be matched with those "bling bling" stuff. (see, orbit rite??) Anw, I was telling WC i reali can't "bear" to buy those accessories. Not becos of the $, but becos its just so freaking fugly!!! In the end, bobian, reali desperate so lan lan, i still went back tdy to buy a necklace (tink: metal chain, big orbit pendant) at $8. Okiez, $8 sounds reasonable for sumtink that i will wear once n dispose it right aft.

I bought a cap from 77t St last wkend which i tot was still quite alrite. Presentable to say the least lah. Boss wana have a unified theme, so upon hearing that i got a "quite alrite' cap, she decided to make it an "uniformed" item for the whole team. So imagine, the rest of my team of 12pple are gona wear the same cap as me. I leave u guys to imagine. It's beyond words to describe how "spectacular" sight its gona be.

Actualli, i sort of figure out what i wana wear. Cap, racer back, skirt. That's all. With that, i tink i m showing enuff respect for the occassion. Best effort made at my end. However, upon showing peepz the outfit that im gona don tmw, everyone says not hip hop enuff leh. HY said its more like streetwear, too causal. My reply, "take it as im low class hip hop lah!" lol.

Erm..that's all for now. Still need to ransack my entire wardrobe for an outfit that's apt for the theme, and at the same time, hope i don't look too much of a Hip Hop idiot.

My new love squeeze is actuali a contestant in "Chao Ji Xin Guang Da Dao"..Taiwan's version of our local Superstar competition. N Yang Zhong Wei is soooo damn freaking good!!!!!!!!

I dun even comprehend why he shd join a singing contest. Cumon' i tink he is better than alot of professional singers. Undoubtedly, he is clearly the best singer in this whole contest. Jitao WIN HANDS DOWN. (all 4 limbs infact!)

Dun believe me? Chk out his rendition of Sun Yanzi's "Yu Tian"..

It's FABULOUS, isn't it? Zhiwei was the one who intro this song to me. He told mi after hearing Yang Zhong Wei's rendition, he was so smitten wif this song that he decided to give it a shot in the KTV himself. N u noe, generally, the singing sucks if guys sing gals" songs and vice versa. N the conclusion? YUPZ. He proves this generic conclusion rite. As per Zhiwei, his rendition was simply KNS! lol.

N this is another song which YL cried after hearing it..I tot she was kidding when she told mi abt it. Cry sia!! But upon hearing Yang Zhong Wei, hmm..i almost cried too. The tears din flow lah, but i could feel my eyes brimming wif tears. Almost cried lah..*sheepish smiles*

Look at the amt of emo in him!!!!!!!!!!!! Its so freaking TOUCHING!!!!!!!! He made all these forlorn love songs even more heart-wrenching than ever. *totally mesmerized*

I honestly tink he put all the Superstars Alumni to shame lor. No fight, no fight at all. Yang Zhong Wei's singing is so freaking TERRIFIC!

It was an impromptu decision to head all the way to JB, specially for the Ma La steamboat which he had been raving incessantly abt . Well, we had actually been discussing abt gg there for a meal for quite sometime but somehow, it nv materialise. As a matter of fact, we were supposed to go yest but I had a taste of Airbus 380, pilot-ed by dear Mr S. (Read: tio put plane lah! ) But to be fair to him, he did try to make amends by purposely giving me a lift home despite that it is not on the way. Moreover, its due to work committments that he couldnt make it the last min.

Back to the steamboat..Hmm..honestly, i dun tink the Ma La steamboat in JB is extremely fantastic. To me, Xian De Lai remains the unbeatable champ, my all time fav steamboat!

Anw, an incident happened during the dinner which made me decide to blog this entry..

Pple who know me long enuff shd noe Yours Truly is not oni princessy but also damn lazy in nature. Put two together, the formidable combination is a trait called U.S.E.L.E.S.S..lol

At this age, I still do not know how to peel prawns! Amazed??!! But haha, that's the astounding truth abt me. Hence, i always depend on nice frens ard mi to help mi with this chore whenever prawns are served b4 mi. Strangely, I nv fall short of nice frens whenever this need to peel prawns arise. =p

One gd example is Principal Seow. Although he may look boring at times, but he can be a real sweetie. There were numerous instances whereby even though he is not eating the prawns, he will still help me to peel them! Nice rite? keke

Thus, i must say i was *ahem* kinda surprised and taken aback when Mr S did not offer to do so during dinner tonite. I mean, i noe this is not an obligation lah..but logically n theoretically, if a guy is dining alone wif a gal, he ought to bear this cumbersome chore rite?? Its a gentlemanly act, agree?

Worst of all, even when i outright ask if he is gona peel the prawns, he told me he is too lazy to do it. *faintz*

N so... since one is too lazy n the other simply has no idea on hw to go go abt peeling the prawns, fine, we decided to leave the prawns alone. All left intact in the cooking pot. Oh if u r wondering then why do we order prawns in the 1st place, reason being we ordered a set.

In any case, i told Mr S that he has created history in all my "prawny encounters". He is the 1st guy who will rather waste $ (n prawns of cos! ) than to lift his fingers to peel the prawns, for himself n his dinner companion!

What else can i say??? *rolls eyes*

P.S: Darn! I reali tink i got a freaking prob. I know jolly well that i need to wakie earli for wk tmw. But instead of catching up on my beauty slp, i chose to kpkb in this avenue at 1.45am. Serves me rite that i will be definately oversleep tmw n end up wasting $ on cabfare again! *slaps self*

Anw, its an another usual week that flew by..

Life is getting to be a drag these days..No motivations, no directions..I work, I play. I eat, I breathe. Same old boring routine day  after day, week aft week, month aft month.

Tink Im kinda getting autistic. Mayb i haven reached the stage of autism, im merely anti-social at this moment. Haha.

Find it a chore to go out on wkends these days.. I had intended to coop myself at home but eventually, still ended up drinking till the wee hours of this morn. Okiez, i can see wat's running thru ur mind now, u guys must be tinking, "huh? it's so contradicting." Yupz, on one hand, i yearn to stay at home but on the other hand, staying alone at home on a Sat nite makes me feel pretty pathetic. Well, contradictions of life, isn't it?

Lately, im in charge of organising a dept gathering, tog with YuanDa. N this damn thing has been causing mi much headache.

For godsakes,  i cant even organise my life well. My goddamn life is so disorganised, hence imagine my anguish when i knew i was entrusted with this responsibility!

The worst part of all is the miserable budget. For a mere $700, im supposed to work out an event that comprises of food, drinks n a gd chill-out venue for 40pax! Yeah manz, dat works out to be $17.50 for per head.

Honestly, in this mercenary world where money makes the mare go, there is simply no room for talk if u aint got the bucks in your hands. Even as i was negotiating with the various nightspots, i felt a pang of embarrassment each time the budget was mentioned. Whenever i go clubbing wif my collx, we easily chalked up half of the budget with just 1/8 of the headcount. But well well, perseverance yields success, when ur boss ask u to do sumtink, gota do it means gota do it. I just gota figure a way to do so, even if it spells MISSION IMPOSSIBLE.

N on Thur, while sourcing for the venue..Somehow, i ended up drinking at Beds instead! Haha.

Who is gg to play wif mi during this period??!!!! I joked with him that when ur best khaki goes for reservice, its much worse than ur bf gg for reservice. Hahaha.

Erm..so upon learning of this news, i kinda mapped out what i wana do during this period..Pedi, mani, eyebrow trimming n cutting my hair..Hahaha

I noe I have always been careless and its a trait that has haunted mi for the past 26 years. But this time, my careless mistake is way too atrocious and the repercussions can be really serious.

Throughout the day, I was on tenterhooks and apart from waiting for my "saviour" to get in touch wif me, there was nothing else I could do.

At 11pm, I finally received the long-awaited call n hurray! All problems are finally resolved!

A well-taught lesson for me indeed!
